Human Watch

"Hu" is a watch series generated under the theme of human and human friendliness.

It's organic shape made of titanium and silicon materials gently holds and fits into your wrist.  With the "Hu" series, Mr. Ross Lovegrove embodies his philosphy that a watch is part of the human body.  The dial has a slight slope on a 25 degree angle to the right, which makes the dial naturally and easily viewable.

The "Hu" series structure consists of an inner and an outer case, realizing the uniquely designed Mr. Lovegrove's human-friendly flowing outline.  The Watch and crown functions are concentrated in the inner case.  The inner case comes off by pressing the glass top part from above to enable the crown operation.  The spring-type inner case ensures the safety to put on or take of the watch with a clicking sound.

The watch holder is created from Ross Lovegrove's unique design approach of placing the watch to the core (metallic part) formed from his arm shape by using a 3D scanner.  His product, a liquid chair which is kept permanently at the MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) in New York, inspired him with the styling.  This special package can also be enjoyed as an artistic decoration.
