This watch allows you to time yourself against the world’s fastest
runners - or just marvel at their speed.It is both a celebration of
human achievement and a whisper to the wearer – to make and break
records of our own, rather than sit still.
On Foot displays the world record times for running different distances. Three arcs map the records to the hours, minutes and seconds on the watch. The outer arc shows records of less than 60 seconds: 100m, 200m and 400m. The two inner arcs align with the minute and hour hand respectively, for records of under and over one hour, showing distances from 800 metres all the way up to 100km..

About Mr Jones
Watches
Founded by London-based designer Crispin Jones in 2007,
Mr Jones Watches aims to create and produce watches that do more than just
tell the time. A masters Degree from the Royal College of Art combined
with a history designing for companies including Casio Research and
Phillips Design has influenced the way Crispin approached his designs.
Design
To achieve the intricate and playful designs
in the collection, Mr Jones Watches uses a series of rotating disks layed
on top of each other. The idea, usually used in the design of children’s
watches, allows for intricate illustrations and more experimental layouts;
whilst still showing the time.
