SWISS MADE
The Swiss made Nixon Automatic II is
an upgrade to one of their first mechanical classics, now with an
improved design and a lot more attitude. "Auto F*king Matic" is
engraved on the rotor itself! Seen from the sapphire crystal porthole
on the caseback.
A few years ago, Nixon released
the first Swiss Made Automatic Watch, aptly titled The Automatic. Since
that time making Swiss Automatic watches has become standard fare in
the world of Nixon. Not wanting to get too far from their roots, they
decided to return to their age old friend and give him a top to bottom
upgrade. The second edition, The Automatic II, comes with a larger case
size and a more prominent display of the recessed face design which
became the calling card of the original. Tungsten now adorns the
top-ring and caps the stainless steel crown. Greater detail in the
bezel and crystal construction allow lines to flow smoothly and light to
flood in, showcasing shadows created by the raised indices on the
face. The quality of movement remains unchanged on The Automatic II
with Swiss Made mechanical automatic time, day, date and sweeping
seconds.
WATER RESISTANCE: 200 Meters – Can handle just about anything you can throw at it.
MOVEMENT: Swiss Made 25 Jewel mechanical automatic with day and date and sweeping seconds
CASE: Custom 200 meter, 44 mm stainless steel case with scratch resistant coating. Sapphire crystal and tungsten top-ring. Tungsten capped custom stainless steel crown.
BAND: Custom solid stainless steel 3 link bracelet with stainless steel solid bar double locking clasp.
