solar powered watch has been designed button free with a touch
sensitive screen that operates in both LCD digital and LCA analog mode.
By simply tapping at specified points on the interface the watch display
and functions can be changed. Back up support for cloudy days is also
provided by a lithium battery. Sunstich is a low maintenance and long
lasting watch combined with state-of-the-art digital technology.

Michael Young's new timepiece "Hacker Watch" for o.d.m. is inspired by many of the precision
engineering projects his studio has been involved with. The name derived from a group of
experts that create useful programming for the public is combined with play on words for running about town.
In this case, Michael is a professional watch designer while o.d.m. is a top level watchmaker; Michael has
masterfully combined the aesthetics and craftsmanship of fine watches with customer’s highest expectations
in mind.
The
appearance is based on the application of visual ergonomics by using
bold lines from the center to the
edge of case that lead the eyes pleasantly allowing the time to be read
at a glance, the dial curvature and watch case are near seamless to
deliver a
premium yet delicate timepiece.
Designer Michael Young at Hacker Launch Party
Michael Young has been amongst the most successful and influential
designers of his generation from the outset of his career. In a career that
spans little more than 15 years, British-born and Hong Kong based
designer Michael Young established himself from the very beginning as
one of the world’s leading figures in his trade, proven by his endlessly
copied designs and its unparalleled power to generate a vibrant but
relaxed atmosphere, combined with the pioneering passion for
technology. In 1995 he created his own MY022 Ltd design office in
London, and he was soon offered the opportunity of one-man shows in
prestigious galleries in France, Germany and Japan.
Having worked with 100% Design for over 10 years. Michael Young has
been appointed as creative director of the 100% Design Tokyo 2 years in
a row (2007 & 2008) and creative director of the 100% Design Shanghai
2yearsinaraw(2010&2011). Also, he used to be the creative director
of Asian Aerospace in 2009.
