TX 830 Linear Duo Chronographs
-TX continues to break the confines of
circularity by unveiling the new TX 830 Linear Duo Chronograph, featuring the
only quartz analog movement to indicate the chronograph minutes on a
vertical line. "Our philosophy of innovation and precise
instrumentation provides a springboard for the creation of the TX830 Linear
Duo Chronograph Series. This instrument breaks convention and delivers
beyond expectations. The final vision is one of balance, confidence,
beauty and power," says Hans-Kristian Hoejsgaard, President and CEO of
the Timex Group. An extension of the revolutionary TX Linear Chronograph
Series, the Linear Duo is driven by a sophisticated six hand movement
run by four motors, each operating independently of each other.
Bidirectional motors propel the linear hand located at nine o'clock,
indicating the chronograph minutes singularly and in five minute
increments, and a retrograde hand at four o'clock tracks the hours of
the chronograph. Designed in Italy by renowned Italian designer Giorgio
Galli, this new TX Chronograph offers a clean silhouette with
distinct masculine detailing. The 47mm curved case with subtle beveled
edge is paired with bold highlight colors to create a striking balance
of beauty and power.
