Cyclops offers a more relaxed form of timekeeping and reminds us that we are not slaves to time. Instead of the conventional hour and minute hands Cyclops has a single circle to mark the time. The circle gradually moves around the dial - one revolution every 12 hours.
It can be read with a relaxed kind of accuracy that offers up the time on a more human scale than a traditional watch (after all everyone has a mobile phone for purely functional timekeeping).
This is a new variation for women of the popular Cyclops model. It is designed to be read in a relaxed way to remind us that we shouldn't be slaves to time.
The watch dispenses with a conventional arrangement of hour, minute and second hands; instead a single hour marker passes around the dial. Each hour is represented by a different gold circle, the red hoop eclipses and releases each circle in turn to indicate the time.

About Mr Jones Watches
Founded by London-based designer Crispin Jones in 2007, Mr Jones Watches aims to create and produce watches that do more than just tell the time. A masters Degree from the Royal College of Art combined with a history designing for companies including Casio Research and Phillips Design has influenced the way Crispin approached his designs.
To achieve the intricate and playful designs in the collection, Mr Jones Watches uses a series of rotating disks layed on top of each other. The idea, usually used in the design of children's watches, allows for intricate illustrations and more experimental layouts; whilst still showing the time.
